The ECL designed and manufactured PCB is at the core of our client's flagship product.
This company needed to design a new product and get it to market
quickly. Having experienced supply and technical support problems
with a previous supplier, they approached European Circuits for
help.
The new design was an interface to a printer and data
acquisition unit incorporating an automotive PSU. From first
contact to supply of prototype units took 8 weeks. Continuous
dialogue with our customer throughout a period of trials,
specification modification and refinement continued until volume
production began in early 2010. Throughout the following 18 months
we have maintained close communication with our customer supporting
further product variations and improvements. This product is now
well into the second year of production. The success of this
project has now encouraged our customer to embark on two new
development / production projects.
