I'm Philip Briscoe and I
am the Business Development Manager at European Circuits Limited. I
work closely with Jim Broom, our Sales Director, and have been with
the company since February 2009.
I've worked in sales since I was about
21, originally selling self-adhesive labels and label printers. As
most of you will guess from my surname, I am the youngest son of
Bill Briscoe and brother of Mark Briscoe who founded the company. I
joined the family business when the company expanded and we moved
premises. For me it was a big decision to join the company as I
wondered how it would be working so closely with family. I have to
admit, it was a good decision and I really enjoy what I do and
proud to be working for ECL.
I'm married to Elaine and we live in
Drumchapel. Apart from working, I enjoy going to the gym (when I
can get motivated!), movies, good food and socialising with family
and friends. My plan for 2012 is to attempt my first 10K
run (note the use of the word 'attempt'!). Wish me luck.....I
have a feeling I'll need it!
